"...............this is the official blog of Screenwriter and Producer Simon Allen and that's Paul McGann up there playing Clarence in our weird little 2005 fantasy pilot Fables of Forgotten Things which I am still VERY proud of after all these years. We made it for nothing but we made it with everything. Google it. Search it out. It might make you feel better............."

"...Our FOX horror film Floor 9.5 becomes our third Vimeo Staff Pick."
Fresh from its huge debut on various FX Channels in the USA last October, our horror film 'Floor 9.5' has been given the much sought-after Staff Pick Laurel over on Vimeo.
That makes it our THIRD horror film to receive this coveted accolade after 'Lot 254' and 'Breathe' and we couldn't be prouder to get such wonderful recognition from our filmmaking peers.
Starring Georgina Campbell ('Black Mirror', 'Krypton' and BAFTA winner for 'Murdered By My Boyfriend') and Robin Berry ('The Descent'), 'Floor 9.5' is a millennial nightmare about the corporate voids that can sometimes consume us as we try to make our way in an increasingly unfair world.
As the late Rod Serling might say, we commend it to you most highly.

"....our new horror short Floor 9.5 scares the shit out of America. Sorry America."

| BAFTA winner Georgina Campbell in Floor 9.5 |
Here's an interview the director Toby Meakins and I did with Ad Week about the impact of the film: 'These Bite Size Horror Films are the Best Halloween Ads in Years.'
And here are just a few of the press articles:
Skittles’ Bite-Size Horror Short Takes an Elevator to Hell!
Skittles’ two-minute “Bite-Size Horror” commercial during ALDS freaked out a lot of people
I'll try to post any updates as the film continues its run through Hallowe'en and we're hoping it will follow the long and successful runs of Lot 254 and Breathe in festivals next year. In the meantime, here's some behind the scenes images I grabbed on the shoot.....

"...The Musketeers 3.10 Epilogue!"
Below is a short scene that we wrote for the very end of Episode 10 (originally to come after the closing monologue). We filmed it, Tamla and Luca were brilliant in it but we felt it undermined the strength of what had gone before. I've posted it here for diehard fans to take a look at. Hopefully you'll see the echoes of d'Artagnan and Constance's first meeting from Season One...
You can download the entire script from the BBC Writers' Room website - there are one or two other 'deleted scenes' within it, not least an extra beat between Anne and Aramis.
And that's it for the Musketeers!
Thank you to BBC One and BBC Worldwide for letting us make the show.
Thank you to our crew, directors and guest writers.
Thank you to Lucy, Naf, Jess Hill and Kate.
Thank you to Adrian Hodges for creating the show in the first place and bringing us onto it during Series Two.
Thank you to Hilary Martin.
Thank you to Jess Pope. For everything.
Thank you to Simon J. Ashford. For absolutely everything.
Thank you to Tom, Luca, Santi, Howie, Hugo, Ryan, Ali, Tam, Thalissa, Matt, Michael, Andre, Maimie and Rupert.
Most of all THANK YOU so much to everybody who watched Season Three and supported us.
It's been extraordinary.
We are the Garrison!
Simon
